If it doesn’t say “Dansko", it’s not.


Q.  Are they suppose to slip in the heel?

Dansko clogs are designed so that they keep your foot aligned with your arch. It is normal to have a pinky width at the back of your clog for proper fit.

Q.  Are the new spring 2011 canvas clogs washable?

Yes, they are machine washable with a rubber bottom.

Q.  Is there a lifetime warranty for Dansko footwear?

The lifetime warranty rumor has been around for several years. While we don not have a lifetime warranty, we do guarantee our footwear from manufacturers defects within a reasonable amount of time and wear. Normal or abnormal and tear is not considered a manufacturers defect. If you believe there is a defect with the material or workmanship, please contact the retailer about returning or replacing your shoes.

What’s the difference between Dansko clogs and other clog brands?

Dansko has been a leader in comfort footwear since we first introduced “Danish” clogs to America nearly 20 years ago! You can recognize a Dansko clog by its iconic shape, clean construction and the use of the highest quality materials from the cushioned insole to the durable outsole. In January 2008, Dansko introduced state-of-the-art footwear innovations to our classic rocker bottom to enhance the comfort, stability and performance of our clogs.

Visually other clogs may try to appear similar, but only genuine Dansko clogs provide:

STAPLED CLOG COLLECTION

  1. Upper - Highest quality leathers
    Designs follow the natural contours of the foot. Instep collar is generously padded. Upper designs accommodate most foot types.
  2. Toe Box - Thermoplastic
    Sturdy reinforcement adds durability and toe protection. Allows toes to move comfortably.
  3. Heel Counter - TPU (Thermoplastic urethane)
    Acts as a natural shoehorn. Allows heel to move up and down when walking. Provides lateral stability.
  4. Heel Cup
    The drop-in cavity cradles your heel and prevents it from sliding sideways in the shoe.
  5. Socklining - Leather Socklining
    Anti-microbial
  6. Footbed - Breathable open-cell PU foam
    Absorbs and evaporates perspiration.
  7. Inner Frame - Polypropylene
    Provides stability, reduces torque and provides lateral stability.
  8. Outsole - Polyurethane
    Rocker-bottom sole propels foot forward when walking. Wider heel for greater stability. Improved compound for shock absorption equal to athletic shoes.
